I don’t live in Tennessee. Can I still train at Peak Truck Driving School in Maryville, TN?Yes. You must have your CDL learners permit in your home state first, but you can train here.
The 3rd party exam (pre-trip, backing skills and road test) at the end of your 3 weeks is included in your tuition and done on site at Peak. That final exam result will transfer back to your home state’s DMV. After class, you just go to your local DMV to get your Class A CDL. You don’t have to change your driver’s license to Tennessee.
